Postby idf101 » Thu Jun 09, 2005 6:36 pm

Posted a couple of days ago refering to squeaky brakes and i intend to take front pads out and clean and apply copperslip as recomended, do i need any special tool to remove pads? or push piston back etc or is it straight forward sorry to be thick but the last time i did this was in 1987 on a mk4 Cortina!!!

Cheers

Don't know about special tools but you'll need 2 people for bleeding the brakes.

I'd take it to a garage. Less hassle and you don't get your hands dirty :D

Or buy a brake bleeding kit from Hellfrauds, a 1 man job.
