Help Required

just been out in the car for half hour

got home as i was putting it in the garage i stalled it :D

know it wont start at all it is like the imobalizer is stuck on

also noticed when the red light goes out i used to be able to reset it while the key is in the ignition and then start the car but when i do that know it locks the doors

so had to push it in the garage :oops:

I assume you have tried pressing the button on the key whilst it is on 2nd ignition?

yes mate i have tried that

it seems that the key isnt turning of the emobalizer

can you turn these of with out the key?

try changing the key battery it worked for me when my alarm wouldnt reset, apparently you can rest the alarm using the keypad over rider in pocket under steering wheel so subaru told me previously good luck

azyman this might sound stupid becoz uv just drove it but have u tested the car battery? reason i say that is becoz i went out 4 a drive, filled the car up with petrol & it wudnt start, had 2 push the car off the forcourt, looked like a right t×at! called the AA out aswell 4 them just 2tell me i had a dead battery, double t×at! :roll:

dont think its the battery it turns over realy well just wont fire up :(
spoke to RCM today they are coming down tonight to collect it
200 mile round trip fair play :D

i still think its something to do with the key/imobaliser we will see

thats the strange thing mine still turned over aswell, thats why i called the AA coz i thought it obviously cudnt be the battery :roll: :oops: well best of luck to u mate hope its nothing serious. keep us posted azyman
