What oil would you recommend I use in my WR1 around the nurburgring?

I need to decide between Silkolene Pro S 5W-30 and 5W-40.

Or dosnt it really matter.

personally would use 5w40 but prefer Motul 300v, deals with high temps far better IMO

I use silkolene pro r 15/50 for track use.

The oil will probably need changing after, so you can go back to 10/40

Im not changing it after every track day! I will use it for every day driving as well.

100% agree with Alyn.

Motul 300V 15/50 or Millers 10/60 would be my choice. Both from Alyn at ASP.

Just stick silkolene pro r 15/50 Job done ... ...

After good blast around The Ring i guess the oil will be shafted any how !

Then go back to your normal Oil .. Mine Runs on Pro r all the time

RCM use silkolene pro r 15w-50 and they know there stuff, imo everyone is not going to agree. Silkolene, Castrol, Motul etc all good oils it's just your preference.

All good oils, but after a say 1500 mile sprited round trip and some hard laps on the ring your oil will be shite hence change it when you get back, after all oil change service it 4/5000 miles anyhow !

Not quite what Alyn said but you are entitled to your opinion.

As someone that has done in excess of 120 laps of the place at speed - I would not go with 5/40.
