Best Brake Pads?

What are the best brake pads to use with the standard brembo discs and calipers for road and occasional track use.

Ferrodo DS2500?

I've just bought grooved Brembo discs and Performance Friction pads but seeing as they are in my garage awaiting installation I can't say how good they are...

Ferrodo DS2500?

Def not DS2500 for any track work on your car - will lead to a feeling of warped discs when they overheat and leave pad deposits on the discs.

Performance Friction z rated pads all the way - cheaper than the DS2500 too.

Simply brilliant pads and they last 3 times as long as ds2500's too. Used to last 18000 on mine even with track use.

I just bought my discs and pads from Alyn at ASPerformance. He is on this site, look in the trade section for his contact. The reason I bought everything at once was because they had a sale on before Christmas, not sure if it's over now though...

Fine from cold on the whole - a couple of small stops and they are superb.

The 01 pads are a bit more aggressive but the Z rated pads arent IMO.
