fuel gauge

Postby Daz » Tue Oct 13, 2009 8:25 pm

anyone suffered a faulty fuel gauge reading ?

parked the car up last weekend with the gauge reading just below quarter
empty , got it out this weekend and it was on empty !
so checked around for leaks all ok and put twenty quid in which took it up
to a quarter , used it monday for work still showing the same but when i
got in to come home it was reading over half a tank
sounds like sticky sender unit to me .
