bouncy!

Postby weng » Wed Oct 07, 2009 2:00 am

Hey chaps, the rears feel a little under-damped on my 1. I notice it more on the rougher back(fun  ) roads, but some rear seat passengers have threatened to hurl on me. Anybody else had this prob?
I'm not running pff7s, would a heavier wheel make a difference?
If my shocks are shot are BC coilovers the way forward?

A very stiff suspension setup such as a TEIN coilover solution will leave your car very bouncy and dangerous on uneven roads when giving it some stick. A soft suspension setup will roll around corners a lot but shouldnt have the back end skipping a lot as far as I know. Have you changed the suspension at all?

A sympton of the failing rear struts is that the car becomes bouncy.

The car handles well enough, its just a little springy on alot of roads. Think i'm gonna throw on some coilovers( or pay someone else to throw em on  )
