turbo paused

Today i was blasting up a hill past tesco in Aberdeen and when i was at roughly 5krpm my turbo sort of paused for 0.5 of a second then kicked straight back on again i lost all power.

What would be the reason for that. I had 3 people in the car but i know that wouldnt effect the engine!!

Cheers for any heads up, I did a few other runs and the car never did it again. Strange.

Could be a few reasons. Did you get a check engine light?

nope, I got nothing.the car just operated as normal. It was weird, ive been back out and punished the car it hasnt happened again. i dont get it!! not to bothered im now curious.

Did it feel like your head was trying to headbutt the windscreen for a split second?

Probably fuel cut as your running about 1.45 Bar on a WR1 and fuel cut is 1.55-1.6 Bar on these cars.

Uphill power plus loaded up with people will pull more load on the car so she'll be working harder than normal.

If your worried still once i get back home from Turkey (Wednesday) - pop round sometime and we'll plug in the Deltadash to the car and look for any issues related to how the car is runing?
