just had the rear shocks replaced

Postby robcole23 » Wed Sep 23, 2009 2:49 pm

ive just got back form my local friendly subaru dealer after having the rear shocks and top mounts replaced (under waranty), and all i can say is what a massive difference it has made. The WR1 was great to drive before but now it is even better with no knocking and much better handeling. :D

Not sure what the settings would be, but sure they are on the forum somewhere, or someone like Dunc/Mark could recommend some. The standard settings are useless, and unless you have a geo setup reasonably regularly they will be out anyway.

Suspension settings. Should take an hour-1hr 30. Depending on where you are based I'm sure people can recommend someone to carry this out.

Why should you do it? because its the best cheap modification to transform the handling that money can buy :thumb:

Did we ever agree on the best set up?

There are several numbers being posted up and all are slightly different.

"Best" is probably a personal thing. A geo specialist should be able to advise on a setup given your driving style and what you are using the car for. I have always opted for fast road/track setup and for me this works just great on the scoobs, evos, and the CSL.
