Audio Wiring

If anyone is thinking of putting an amp in the boot of their scooby make sure you're prepared to spend about 5 hours and cut and graze your hands and arms to bits.

Thankfully before i joined the RAF i was a mechanic so i know my way around a car, and now that im in the RAF i have to work nights and have an empty hangar to play in.

Getting the power cable from the battery to the interior isnt really a problem its getting it past the back seats and then the phono leads due to their size can be a massive pain in the plums..

However if you do take your time it can be done to look very good i cannot see one wire on the inside with the exception of the boot but that really can't be helped..

Considering how simple and lets be honest, pretty basic an interior the Impreza has, I too was a bit surprised at how much effort I had to put in to get the wires from my DVD and Ipod control box through to the boot - think my old Leon was actually easier!

I managed to get mine to fit 95% perfectly but when Wuz fitted my Defi's he managed to get it to fit 100% perfect as the control unit now sits inside it 8)

Bro,

They have a lot of displays and family days this time of year, the other day it was my units family day however the wife and i have lived here for a few years now and arnt really that interested so we went to the rally day at castle combe instead.

Although saying that we went out shopping the other night and when we got back and pulled up outside the house there was a lancaster bomber flying round he had quite an audience..
