dont no if any1s had the same problem but when im hitting about 135-140 im getting a strange noise bit like a whining sound, like the kind of noise ud get if it was on a dyno. can any1 help?

so i take it uv had the prob aswell then? thats typical a window problem i work for bloody autoglass, if that is the problem il find a way of sortin that out, il let evey1 else no soon.

Yeh............ The familiar whining noise that always comes from the front nearside but only when booting it...

Is this not a case of the bagpipes?

Is it a kind of howling noise?

i would imagine some window defusers would solve it has anyone tried them?

my windows are fine at that speed,my turbo whines when pulling from 3-4k rpm tho in 6th gear.

how fast did you take it?

i was doing bought 130 when it started whining i went up 140 then pussied out coz i didnt no wat that noise was.

na mate but wouldnt mind a wr1 with a supercharger imagine that no lag just pure pulling power, any1 who of a impreza wit a supercharger???
