Fuel Pump

Is the walbro 255 fuel pump fitted to the 1 as standard?

Yeh mate should be .. but get it cheaked i heard that they never changed or fitted 255 on all of them !

my tunner cheaked mine was ok

it is part of the prodrive pack so it should have it fitted

If it aint fitted tak eit back to dealer and feckin complain :evil:

they need replacing quite regularly anyways so worth putting a new one in just incase.

Easy to do, just whip out lower rear seats and swap over the pumps...10 min job.

That simple? is it the same sort of idea as a central heating pump to a boiler?

It takes about 2 mins to get the lower bit of your rear seat out...take off the plastic cover and you will see the top of the pump assembly bolted to the fuel tank.

It is just a fluid pump like any other...so if you are careful and don't smoke :shock: then all will be fine.

Never changed a boiler pump, but would imagine it is similar...

Best bet is to get the part first, then you can see all the connections to it, so you can see what bits you need to disconnect from the old pump. It should come with the 'tea bag' filter and be almost a complete swap over.
