Oils

Would anyone one recommend miller oil for my engine? If so what one?

Is there any gearbox and diff oils that you guys would recommend as the next service I am going to repalce all the oil in the car?

I would use,

Silkolene Pro R 15/50 Engine oil

And Castrol Syntrax Transmission oil

Is the syntrax allright to use with a-dccd and in the rear diff .Posted question on sidc put no replys and sent api engines this question but no reply yet forgot it was a bank holiday weekend

No ! Bud use

Syntrax in gearbox

And Use

Silkolene BOA 90 LS High Performance Gear And Limited Slip Differential Oil

Some i know has used syntrax in the diff aswell as the gear box on a spec c

15/50---------------surely not !

ASK OILMAN--- You're guaranteed good advice from Guy.

I think he's more likely to say Silkolene Pro-S 5W 40.. not 15/50 !

The 5-40 and 5-50 break down and you end up with 5-20 :shock:

If you use 5-30 then that does not break down,

5-40 AND 5-50 have thicknerers in them that break down and then your engine is not protected aswell,
5-30 does not have any thicknerers in it so doesn't break down,

If your standard or have modded up to 380bhp 10/40, I used motul 300V. Any more than 380bhp oilman will say use 15/50 usually silkolene pro r
