can you mix tyres

Is it advisable to mix tyres ? my 2 front ones are needing changed .

i agree,well when i said cheap i meant cheaper compared to my fronts lol
i hate big huge chunky tyres,but i heard they make your car handle better,i agree as my old scoob had chunkers and it was amazing

I read it was 2mm differerence which doesn't sound like a lot but given there will be less than 2mm play in the cogs... something has to "compromise"!! Not worth a new diff IMHO... just get decent tyres, always....
