cam belt change

I had my car serviced (50k) today at subaru dealer, when i booked it they sad it was the cam belt change which was £400 quid which i tort was not to bad :)
but when i dropped the car off today they sad i dident need to do it till 60k service.
i sad to them the service book says 50k they sad they must of changed it :?
any body else had this.

yep def the 50,000/ 5 year service. I know as i have mine in 2 weeks

ps - where about in essex are you? and why go to a dealer when you have either Xxtreme Scoobies or Mocom?

i am in colchester mate, as i was selling it i thort it would be better to get it done buy a dealer, the service and cambelt cost 650 it needed tensioner and a couple of belts ,but atleast its done :)

Yep defo 50,000 miles/5 years for cambelt, just had my 45k service and they told me need cambelt doing in few months, but quoted me approx £350.

mine is also £350 for a service inc cambelt change from a specialist
