wanting better sound from my wr1

which is the best way to get a better sound from my wr1 is it indution kit and dump valve if so what products and were from please help :?

Induction kit + decat + dump valve if you want the full experience i expect.

Hi bud, Roger Clark Motorsport .. do a good induction kit .. just bolt on

Ace sound Most of the guys on here have them i guess ... Would'nt bother with a Bov

Didn't someone say on here that Wing mounted air intakes are better because they take in cooler air because they aren't in the bay?

If you want a dump valve i have a Forge one lying about that i'm not going to use £65 posted if your interested.

But to be honest the cars run better with the standard one left on.

Yeah, I would of thought the filter exposed like that in the engine bay isn't the best way to go.

It would end up sucking in the less dense hot ambient air, trather than the colder and more dense air from inside the wing, or from inside the protection of the standard airbox.

I would assume that this is more cosmetic than anything else...but I agree it would give you an awesome noise, if you can hear it above the exhaust!

if you fitted this would you have to remap the car? or can you fit it and run it with no problems??
thinking about decat later and remap but would not mind this the now

If you fitted a induction kit & decat yes you would need a remap.

If you just fitted a panel filter & back box then you would be ok no remap needed.

going to aim funds at styling first, then more horses
de-cat, induction kit, remap about £1k i think want a bit more noise so might get a full new exhaust.
