Thanks in advance Ferret WR1
dont know the power output !! but the stereo sounds a lot better with some alpine speakers fitted !!
That's what I am thinking to install better speakers, but wondering what the power rating of the stereo is and would it be enough to power better speaker or would I need an amp?

Changing the stereo alone will give you better sound quality. The standard stereo isnt too great. I think its 30W or something but the quality of it is shocking. I changed my head unit for a pioneer double din head unit and that alone increased the quality of the sound no end. I then changed standard speakers for the biggest that would fit without major surgery which improved it even more. Some sound deadening helped too... However my speakers arent great quality loud and arent bassy. You would need a sub in the boot for that sort of quality.
I did the sound deading stuff, speakers, amp and head unit... Looks great but I usually turn it off and open the windows to embrace the full beauty of a Scooby
AVIC F900BT Its a double din head unit which plays mp3/dvd/divx etc. good radio / plays from usb and SD card... also has sat nav with speed cameras..
I do like it, might consider it
