Have been looking at a few diffrent types of tyers and wondered if anyone had them fitted to thier 1 and your thoughts on how they handle in the dry and wet?

Toyo T1R
Toyo Proxes 4
Yokohama Parada 2 I like the look of these 8)
Goodyear F1 GSD3 eagle
Goodyear F1 asymmetic

Proper size should be 225/40/18 mate

Toyo T1R Brilliant tyre will be going back to these if the yoko are no good in the wet

Toyo Proxes 4 Do not even entertain, really are crap and a complete waste of money. slip and slide terible in the dry let alone in the wet

Yokohama Parada 2 I like the look of these I'm running these as a change but only done a few hundred miles at the moment, so far its a brilliant grippy tyre but as said, not enough miles yet to confirm in the wet. It is a great looking tyre

Goodyear F1 GSD3 eagle Never used
Goodyear F1 asymmetic Never used

I've got Pirelli PZero Nero 225/40/18 tyres, I believe these are the standard tyres for this car. Not had the car long and therefore these the only tyres I've had on this car so can't compare with others tyres.

I've noticed, this site says 225/45 is the standard size :?

A few people on rsoc had them, said they were ok for 2k then they were shite, Why have a expensive car and put cheap tyres on it? Just my opinion,

Rob I paid £65 each, there my second set, I can't fault them, done 3/4 track days with them, and 10k also still life left, only changed then due to a another trip to the ring and spa last year.
Spike also had them on his 500bhp evo, first set.
MLR rave about them too ! :? :?

As for rsoc do you think i'll take any notice about a what some dagaham dustbin owners express !
As for expensive car.....your having a laugh with the current 2nd hand value you can but a straight wr1 for around £11k

Cheers I can get some from camskill for about that price. Think I'll try them, got nothing to lose.
Car doesn't do a lot of miles anyway.

i have yokohama parada spec 2 tyres on my prodrive ppf7s and they are not as good as the pirelli p-zero neros i have on the oz ultralegerras not as much grip in the wet and in the dry they need warmed up before they are anywhere near the pirellis.
i dont have as much confidence in them at all,

Keep us posted with how you get on with the Asymmetric compared to the GSD3's.

I currently run the GSD3 and I've very happy with them but have considered trying the Asymmetric next time around.

Yes I ran the Goodyear Assymetrics for a while including at Spa and the Ring.

They are a soft tyre when you get them very warm but they are very sticky, I felt they had better 'feel' than the Pirellis and gave a more intuitive feedback through the wheel even on semi-spirited drives.

The tyre wall is also quite soft, more than 5 consecutive laps of a circuit and you will permanently scrub the wall as they can get overly warm/soft

In the wet they were excellent far better than the Pirellis IMHO, I am not the most confident in the wet and these certainly inspired me more than usual.

Just make sure you don't put different tyres front to back or run varying tread depths because the diff will not be happy with you

Elaborate please. The reason is I have few mms difference on my front tyres and I'm wondering is this enough to cos my car to ever so slightly pull to the right when accelerating:
