WR1 Driving lamps

Postby Rallyline » Mon Jan 19, 2009 9:09 am

I have almost completed my mods to my WRX Sti which included adding driving lamps from a WR1.

Thankfully all the wiring was there, including the relay. I just needed the switch.

Can anyone tell me if the driving lamps only come on with main beam (as they used to with my P1) or are they only controlled by the switch?

Reason I ask is - that I would like them to only operate with main beam, but mine are on regardless of whether main beam is on or not.

Is there an easy way to rectify this?
If in doubt, flat out.

On STI's they will come on with the fog light switch, with WR1's they come on with the main beam, I have a wiring diagram which tells you to disconnect the fog light wire and connect to the main bean wire :?

Can you post the diagram or email it to me? I'd be most grateful.

I've added my email.

Cheers

Tim

Thanks a lot!!

Des was great - someone who really knows what he's talking about for a change. He managed to locate the Prodrive fitting instructions and emailed me a set.

When I have a little time I will add these mods to the site.
If in doubt, flat out.
