mm 100 octane is a dream come true,

When back in the UK we have 98 ( Optimax )

Take here down slowly though mate, dont wait till the 100 octaine is totaly empty then fill up with 98

mix 50/50 with the 100 / 98 for a while so the ECU can LEarn teh lowere octaine

So i'm not doing my car any harm with 100 in her. I just crapped it when it said 98 only! The ARAL garages over here now are getting 100 octane they are popping up all over, what makes it great is that i am entitled to tax free petrol aswell, which is good cos these babies like their fuel.

the higher the better mate. I use Optimax in my motor with NF octane booster so that it runs 100-102 RON all the time.

What it should say on the fuel cap is USE A MINIMUM OF 98 RON PETROL. That would make it so much clearer.

I dream of a fuel pump in this country selling 100ron as standard!

Yup, 98 or higher. In the UK that means Shell Optimax or Q8 super.

Shell vMax is fine. I just did not feel any difference with 98RON when I ran my cars thorugh Germany.
