Just wondering what people have paid for this, mine is now due and have been quoted £440 by my Local Subaru dealer. Anybody no of any good independent garages in the Stoke on Trent area?

Not quite Stoke... but a nice trip to Buxton will see a much better price.

Call Adam at Autotechnica. He used to be a Subaru main dealer mechanic and is very good both on price and care.

There are several WR1s that now use him and I can't recommend him highly enough. Remember to mention the WR1 site.

30k service invovles,
oil+filter
fuel filter
engine coolant
air filter
spark plugs
all transmission fluids.
and inspect the rest of the car.

for the parts and labour it works out around £280.

£280 Damn wish i lived nearer to you i've been quoted £350 from dealer up here which i didn't think to steep.

The best of it is, I have more confidence in Adam than ANY main dealer I have ever been to. Top bloke too.

Fully believe you Bro, it's Adams name & reputation that goes with his work if he does a bodge job it's his name that gets tarnished, he can't hide behind the dealerships name.

Looked at the google map link & he's not that far from Warrington, could combine a visit to my wee bro's there & a trip to Adam for a service, hmmm worth thinking about now i've said it.
