hi Dan

i have been told that it is ok to run 450-500 Bhp as i am getting my car quoted as we speak, i had read the above and have been assured it will be fine but still am thinking of the FMIC thou but i need a lottery win to get all the rest done

the list is endless thou as for all the other items thrown in :D

i am going the route of forged internals to help with the foundation as dynamix has mentioned

Hi Geoff,

Seems you are getting carried away with the spec now, that's what we like to see, top man :thumb:

Have you decided who is doing the build?

Worth asking the question, not sure if the WR1 standard ECU is up to that... :? I think they're good to about 400ish BHP, but not too sure....

This may be a daft question but why do you need to change the ECU when you get more power??? Surely the ECU is still doing the same job of timings and fuel ratios etc... ?!

it's to do with boost I believe. Standard ECU can't cope with the sort of boost you'll run with that kind of power and a larger turbo. Someone more technical will give you more info. The ECU on the newer cars is better though, thankfully!
