Postby Cantona01 » Mon Oct 13, 2008 11:45 am

Hi

I have just purchased a WR1 and have noticed that when it rains my boot gets water in it. Is this anyone else has had ?

I think I may have heard about the boot leaking where the spoiler is attached? I say this with no certainty other than I think I recall reading this somewhere.

Or the rear lights. If the clusters have been removed for any reason you need to use some proper sealant (and plenty of it) to stop water ingress.

Mines fine but on my mates old wrx same thing happened when it rained the boot got wet, we took the spoiler of & put some sealant round the bolt holes this cured the problem.

The boot of my Spec D leaked from brand new and it turned out to be the fixings for the spoiler.
