anyone know what max boost should be on a 1???? i thought its 1.4bar i think mine low. also it seems to be flutulating when on high boost.started messing about after i disconnected battery one time recently. got car back from subaru today, they recon its alright @ 1.2bar paul

Should be 1.4 bar matey Ask them to reset your ECU this may cure it If its running 1.2bar maybe something has happened and the ECU had gone into "safe" mode which reduses the boost-mine did this one day it went down to 0.5bar!!! Next day it was ok-spoke to the garage and they said was it a hot day etc (which it was-and i'd been giving it some stik)

Ask them to reset your ECU this may cure it
cheam motors done that today they also said they spoke to subaru who said 1.2 was ok paul

Im fairy sure mine was running 1.4 and after th re-map peaked at 1.6 Cheam motors is where I bought my 1 from-didnt seem too interested in "customer care" Dont take no crap tell them all the other 1's run 1.4. If 1.2 is ok that also means 0.5 is ok MUPPETS!!!

1.4 sounds correct. Mind you, boost can vary. Depending on the weather, mine does anything between 1.5 and 1.9 bar

mine runs 1.35-1.4 all the time with a peak of 1.43 although for the first time ever it spiked to 1.47 the other night activating the boost alarm on my psi unit (set at 1.45 bar) hasent done it since just a one off. PM mike wood as he should know what is the correct boost should be 1.2 does sound low.

The WR1 is mapped to 1.3 BAR, but the Defi's over read by 0.1 BAR, so those of us with gauges show 1.4 BAR. Mine shows 1.5 BAR on the Defi's now
Engine: FMIC with K&N CAIK, Oil Catch Can & MD321H turbo. Next mod: TBD
Brakes: Turbo Groove Discs, Pagid RS29's & Braided Hoses.
Suspension: Whiteline front and rear ARB's, ALK

Had a K&N panel filter fitted and a remap. Scored 330bhp / 300lbs on their rollers. Much better drive and the ported headers and up-pipe I already fitted give me much better spool. I hit 1.3 BAR at 3,000 rpm up a hill in 5th Also had launch control and dual boost maps enabled I'd be interested to see what the figures would be on a Dyno Dyamics, but it feels quick on the road and that's what counts!
