I know I am hitting major traffic jams at the moment, but I seem to be getting about 60 miles less per fill up than a few months ago. Might not be much to some, but it's a lot to me. I've switched off the air con and have not got a lead foot, so any ideas. Is it just the traffic jams or could it be something more sinister. Oh and he's still not starting very well on a morning

Not techy minded but maybe the MAF is playing up which could cause overfuelling possibly maybe Ours had a slight miss and using more fuel, MAF was change last Friday, seems to be back to normal

Can be a common fault if "cold air induction" is fitted, if not mapped to suit, but they do go wrong but on the cost I've no idea !

Normally when your MAF is defunct it will run lean....hence use less petrol.
More likely the Lambda sensor.

Well, this is double dutch to me but apparently, my emissions are too high. Running twice as high as they should be, so he is going to see to it next week. May involve some warranty work, but he's not too sure at the mo'

Right, he's been tested. Everything is perfect apart from a "carbon buildup" Apparently, as the garage told me, word for word "You need to be ragging this tits of this baby to stop the carbon building up" Anyone want a race

You will have to compete Misti when we go to elvington, the sprint will do clean out the engine for you. 6000 revs slip the clutch and off you go, two or three goes at that and one clean engine, and one new clutch required.
