You are wrong about WR1's going down in value because of the new scoob that has been released They have gone up in value along with other previous scoob's as the 2.5 has not delivered, people are prefering the 2.0ltr engine over the 2.5. I myself being one of them. I have heard this from Subaru themselves. I looked for 3 months and found a 3000 mile, dry ran WR1 for 21.5k, but I was lucky, very lucky, already have been offered 22K for it . I rang up a Subaru Dealership the next day to see what I would be paying for one on the forecourt, first I got told the car doesn't exist and secondly they said if it did exist they would have it on the forecourt for 25K. If you do find a WR1 for 18K be suspicious, check that service history, the bodylines, the paint and every thing else you can think of, because at 18K there has to be something wrong with it.

ALSO ,I am not the sad one ,I have a WR1 with low miles in mint condition that gets mucho attention as it burbles down the street .Apart from that life is sweet as well.And winding you up because I can is great .
