# Found# a WR1 on the 13/14MAR15

Postby MikeStyles » Sun Feb 15, 2015 7:43 pm

Hi guys,

I'm located in Germany near Cologne and recently found your highly informative forum board - as all the enthusiasts regarding the WR1 seem to be around here and as I'm looking forward buying a WR1 and importing it to Germany (driving with the steering wheel on the "wrong" side will be a challenge :D ) I'd like to receive possible offers on well maintained and original WR1s to accompany my Lancia Delta Evo.

The milage is not that important if the car is well looked after and documented and the price represents it's age.
Looking in the range up until 12k GBP - as it will be a driver a little wear (which doesn't mean rust or accidents  ) is fine with me.

Email contact (tfu560@aol.com) with pictures, info and where you're located at would be nice.

Cash payment in GBP with no p/x and no fussing around.

Best regards and thx for your time

Micha

Hardly the thread to be telling stories about an italian rust bucket  that's not for sale and is in it's final
stages after a complete rebuild.

A 1992 verde derby Evo 16v that I've driven since 2004 (roughly 100.000mls in my ownership).
Before the complete teardown it had 350bhp on the dyno with a stock shortblock, rods and pistons - now we're
throwing everything at it with a (as far as I'm aware of) worlds first - a Borg Warner EFR 7164 in a Delta.

When I've got more time and the fellas on this owners club share your interest I'll post a feature with some behind the scenes pictures.

Here's the specialists homepage that's servicing and building my Delta since day 1 -> http://www.kfz-unger.de

They maintain and rally service true GroupA (ex-works) Deltas and are great pals. :D

Cheers

Micha

Hi guys,

small update.

I'll be making the trip to the UK on the 13/14MAR15 (next week) to have a look at two WR1s -
if someone still has a car that needs a new home and wants to meet me in that timeframe I'd be glad to receive the offer.

We'll be travelling at least from Folkstone to Newcastle - so we'll be around...

Cheers and thanks for all the help up until this point

Micha :)

It's a shame your budget is what it is, otherwise might be tempted to suggest you view mine.
