Alarm Module

Postby Bonovox » Wed Jul 10, 2013 4:48 pm

Main dealer says my alarm module is knackered, its a sigma part number SACC 3465 but surprise surprise it's back order with no release date. Having to collect the car and pay for two or three hours labour for now and the will put a unit on BO for me which will cost another £70 ish plus a few hours labour. Getting a tad expensive so wandering if anyone has a working alarm module they would sell me, my cousins an Auto Electrician so I could get him to fit it done on the cheap and keep the costs down hopefully? :norty:
Until then I will have to open the door with the key and punch in a security code every time I use the car :|

Take it to a reputable specialist and get a second opinion, most Subaru main stealers are sh1te. Had a few bad experiences that have been rectified by RCM.

Would it not be cheaper to get a full new alarm system fitted? On my last Impreza I had concept 650, remote start and cool down for like £350. Good luck with it.
