New Front End - well almost anyways!!

consisting of:-

front bumper
radiator
ac matrix

after a slight misunderstanding with a rather large Elk!!

No major damage to speak of (inc the friggin elk!), but it has cracked all of the above, with slight damage to the U frame underneath (which is pretty uselss anyhow, but I can put right)

Taken off all the front end already in preperation, but stopped short of the ac matrix just incase. So a local garage will help me do this with the proper kit and also re-charge it for me afterwards.

b*stard animals!! Defo need those spots on next winter!

Ideally I am after new items, and as the front end is apart I might stick in a FMIC while I am at it.

Anybody know a good place to get them without calling the main stealer and dropping my pants?

I can get bumper sprayed up here and get the wheel alignment done again just to be safe.

Jeez hope you get it sorted soon mate. Around here we get "Sprinting pheasants" that seem to think they can leg it in front of your car at a moments notice... an Elk on the other hand is crazy.

You pay for what you get to be honest Cavey !

To keep your driving light you'll need to fit a APS, Hyperflow or a Perrin irrc !
Not any change from £1100 if not more, unless you can get direct from Aussie for aps, hyperflow or usa for perrin !

well so far I have been quoted around 150 for the radiator, 250 for the primered bumper and about 550 for a Hyperflow FMIC kit.

not bad at all I reckon, but wondered if there was a aftermarket rad I could use to match the FMIC..

it's all an easy fix, just unbolt and re-bolt but working outside at -15/20 is not fun!

Ive been looking at these too recently and trying to work out why hybrid fmics are less than 400 notes where as the big boys aps, hyperflow and perrin are 1500ish... dynamix said that the hybrid one has pipes going under the engine which makes it a bit laggy and prone to be hit by speedhumps which is a no no for me. Just cant justify 1500 notes fora bit of metal when a radiator the same size costs a few hundred pounds... craziness... if you find a decent intercooler cheap keep me posted via pm Andy :)
