Adam at Autotecnica. Garage in Buxton. SK17 9JL

07855 364898

01298 27391

What's the problem?

You'll not get a better service or a better price.

If it is a mapping issue I would call Dynamix

A quick mechanical check by Adam would set you up well for a fruitful meeting with Dunc (Dynamix). Nothing worse than going for a map fix and there is a mechanical problem.

Cheers guys, the problem is a gremlin about 5k when pulling hard from low revs in 4th or higher. If I accelerate through the gears everything is fine, but hauling from below 2k something whistles quite loudly and the engine will cut at 5k. Not sure if it's mapping or mechanical

There is nothing wrong with any of them mate

Ive taken my UK Turbo, P1, WR1 to Powerstation loads of times and they are always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to offer free advice - never had any issues.

I tend to use a local scooby specialist for services however Powerstation did my remap and they have a rolling road too.

Personal preference at the end of the day everyone can have a bad expirience at any garage.

Im a member of many different scooby forums and heard mixed reviews for all specialists but until they do something to make me change my mind then I wont be swayed by publc opinion really.

Each to their own!!

not had many dealings with Scooby World and only been to Scooby Clinic once.

Scooby Clinic are site sponsers on the P1woc so they cant be that bad, they also offer p1woc discount.

You could also try http://www.scoobyprojects.co.uk again P1woc site sponsors and very good reviews on that forum.

Did Scooby clinic work on your car in the cow shed or the horse box? A personal highlight was the spray booth in the cow shed with the doors open whilst people were grinding fibreglass outside... I like the sign that says £35 per hour or £50 an hour if you watch and ask questions... Friendly!!

Keith Rigby at scoobyproject is a topman, just like Adam at autotecnica. :thumb:

Scoobyclinic or the farm  so they sponser p1woc ..ermmm money ....never dealt with them, but know people who have so...

I've used powerstation but never again, something to do with "chucking" my keys on the roof, and not keeping to there price, there are a few more who have had worse experiences with them.

Autotecnica it is then. I wonder what the highest average speed up the cat & fiddle is since they put 50mph cameras on it?... might 'lose' my numberplates and see what I can do.
