Want some more pops and bangs and it seems everywhere is out of stock till mid October so I'm hoping someone might have this back box for sale?

Cheers!

I've e-mailed them today mate, asking if they actually have one in stock as everywhere seems to be saying mid october before the next batch arrive!

Don't really need the Spec R, the exhaust is straight through all the way to the prodrive box so it's just the latter I need to change :)

Am I right in thinking you wouldn't need the car mapped with putting one of these on?

certainly not for a back box which is all I'm looking to change, my car was re-mapped after I changed the downpipe and filter anyways 8)

It's cool, got a ScoobyWorld Ninja 2 back box (made by H&S) and fitted it tonight. Still not quite as loud as I would like (nearly though!) so just ordered an afterburner centre section (also made by H&S) which will do the trick I think as the only silencer from the turbo back will be the back box

well I've gone for the non resonated centre section so I think it'll be pretty bloody loud - the neighbours will love me!

Centre section should be with me tomoro so I'll get it fitted in the next night or two. The Ninja 2 back box is actually a nice improvement over the Prodrive one, not a huge amount louder on tickover but it's pretty loud on boost - just want a slightly louder note yet though and some more pops and bangs

if you want pops n bangs mate, then fit a different ECU and get some ALS action programmed in.

It can be switchable, so you can run in stealth mode when you prefer those quieter moments...and flick it on when you need the sound of thunder - and the flames of hell!!

Well last night I fitted my centre section and I'm really pleased with it, not only is the exhaust mega shiny all the way to the down pipe now  but it's extremely well made and fits perfectly - the sound is now perfect in my opinion. It's not stupid loud on idle but considerably louder than standard but on boost it sounds amazing, cracks and bangs if you give it stick through 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear too

I read a few folk saying you'd get awful cabin drone if you go for the non resonated section but it's nothing like what I thought it would be, the girlfriend says she doesnt notice a difference which must be a good thing :D

I noticed when i sat in the back of my car that the exhaust is a lot louder and dronier than when in the front 2 seats... weird - i wonder if people complaining about drone sit in the back? :)

quite possibly as I've noticed that too, if you even lean back a bit towards the rear as you drive you can tell it's noticeably louder - I dont really give a $hit though as no one drives my car but me

If you just put the backbox and centre section on then yeah no probs, however mine is fully de-catted so it might struggle to pass....

Believe a lot of the exhaust noise gets into the car from exhaust outlet via the boot lid and rear seat back, just the way it is.

hatchbacks get worse drone than saloon style cars as the cabin acts as a bass box amplifying the sound so quite often with a hot hatch with a different exhaust they sound better / louder in the car than outside the car.
