Was the 260 mile round trip to autotecnica worth it....

Postby W1 KRB » Sat May 19, 2012 7:17 pm

Today I drove a 260 mile round trip to autotecnica for a 40k basic service on recommendation from alot of people on this forum, I know see why people rave about these guys!
Their attention to detail, knowledge of the car, and service they Provide is second to none, even though a basic service the car was checked from head to toe and found to be a strong, tight example in Adams eyes, apart from some "gearbox specialist" putting the wrong gear fluid in previously, this was soon rectified as you would imagine.
So my point of this post is to say if you are thinking about using them then stop thinking about it and just do it, you won't regret it one bit, I know for sure ill be doing the same 260 miles next time the car needs something :)

One of the big bonuses of going to a specialist like Autotecnica is that they treat your car like their own and give your car the attention to detail it deserves.

When you go to main dealers you dont get the attention to detail as you become just another car through the doors.

a day out for me too,but well worth it. :D
it is better to have had a wr1 and lost it than never to have one at all.
