Looks good bro but will that shield not restrict the air flow?

Are you going to do something with your light to allow more
air in that area?

Looks good. Is it ally or stainless? Ally would not be the best choice as it's a bit conductive. You could always put some heat tape on it.

Most importantly, has it made a difference?

It is stainless.

Regards making a difference, yes. Often when getting stuck behind cars I would get less boost when you first accelerate to get past the Sunday driver. All round brunters and for the last two weekends (when it has been hot) this only happened once. When normally it would happen a lot more. Looking at getting a cold air feed direct to the cone region. Adam is working on this.

its a stainless shield to match the rcm radiator cooling cover, the one i fitted on mine lowered intake temps on the r/r by 15 degrees at the start of the run. i am working to intergrate a air intake to go with the styling but its not easy with the driving lights and the huge aps fmic!

Bro, you should really clean your engine bay up before you show pictures.
I notice a drop of dust on the 3rd pic :D

Doh, please note it has done a session at Bruntingthorpe and two weekends away since the bay was cleaned. Having said that, I've never managed to keep it as clean as when Marky Mark first cleaned it.

Poor quality shots, I'll use a proper camera next time.
