Where the f*ck did you pull that out ? Your arse ?

2"5 is a tad narrow for a 1900GBP zorst, ceramic coated or not.

How do you know? did you put a 3" on and it gave exactly the same power, on the same dyno on the same day?

With my own eyes i have seeen a 8 BHP rise from 363-371 on a MY04 Sti, with no other changes. dyno run about 2 hours apart.

At higher power levels a 2 1/2" is a restriction, at lower levels probably not.

So????????

Explain how this means you can say a 2.5 is not restrictve at a given level, bearing in mind you already know that completely standard untouched WR1's vary in BHP anyway?

Unsure if bigger is better.

I remember Martin saying his bigger exhaust didn't give enough back pressure for the turbo to run propely.

Im not trying that Spikey honestly, although reading back i admit im up my own bottom.

My appologies.

The fact is though i have seen it as stated above - on the particular car i saw the 2.5" pipe was definetly a restriction.

I still luv ya - gimme a X

That might well be a 3.5, which is too big for 'normal' power levels. 3" will see you over 500 BHP without it being restrictive in any way.
