As I stated earlier, the DVLA want 1600+, not me. It seems funny that '04' went for 499, when they are still asking 1600 for '51' and 1800 for '02' ???

AFAIK CB the WR1s are not registered until you have signed up and paid a deposit....only then are they released from the docks to have the PPP put on at Prodrive.....which is why there is still a wait for people buying a new one even now

Isn't a none WR1 based plate a better buy as you can transfer it to a future car that isn't a WR1? Especially at 1600 notes! A couple of hundred then maybe but 1600 and you surely will not get that much back for the plate when you sell the car?

Cold Turkey, I didn't realise that. I figured they'd have done them all together but I suppose it makes sense, logistically.

yeah hindsight is a wonderful thing ! If I'd of thought about it before I'd have bought WR54ONE even though I couldn't use it on mine!

I'd pay over a grand for a general scooby plate but not a WR1 one.
I did think about the ones that are being offered here but i didn't want to make the car look older than it was.
