For Sale...Number 30, spares or repairs

Morning all,
Well after spekaing with Jamie and Adam on Friday, my car is(pardon the french) f*cked. Thats not technically correct but thats how i feel.
It has been repaired badly on the passenger side to the extent that my pockets are not deep enough to repair is perfectly, and if its not going to be perfect then i am not interested in doing it.

she is taxed till jan and MOT'd till oct. she has 84.5k miles on it and the engine runs fine, pulls hard in every gear.

Looking at offer circa 5k as i dont have the space to break it myself or i would be able to recoup the 7.5k i paid for her.

Will prob part ex it but if i get an offer on here from someone who might be able to look after it or can break it then id sell it here.

Not as gutted as me mate! basically she has taken a large hit to the passenger side door area. under on the chassis they have welded it all back up but covered the crap repair using filler, clearly not a skilled person!

thats the problem, the rest would have been doable by me, needs a new front passenger Hub as thats not been replaced(hence the issue i had with wrapped discs).

To do it properly it would cost 7+ and it still wouldn't be perfect so im not interested in doing it to be honest.

Jamie and Adam were spot on and top blokes. I am taking their advice and getting rid of it. Wish i had the time and space to break it but im just gonna have to take the hit on this and get what i can get for it.

As you say you will never be happy with it so best to get rid. Could you not get back in touch with the garage you had it from? I know they replaced the whole diff for you didn't they? I'm guessing its out of their warranty but surely something as big as that they maybe helpful???? Wishful thinking but worth a go unless they knew its history

Either way im sorry to hear this bud as I knew from talking to you that you were going to bring it up to standard.

Surely if you got it from a garage there can still be come back on it as, they're meant to check the whole car etc........ I'd go back to them and also contact trading standards.

Sorry about the car buddy

It says no 30 is for sale at Cheshire Performance on Auto Trader for £9,995, no pics yet. Im guessing it's this car? I was going to have a look at it.

Personally I'd steer clear of it, acknowledged that it may have been fixed, but you know from here that there is a history with the car and will impact the resale if you have to move it on. If you are in no rush, I'd post a msg on the forum and hang out for one which has less issues and been pampered as they typically are from owners on the forum.

Only my oppion.

Good luck with the search.

Just the fact that Cheshire Performance are selling it would put me off after reading several posts on Scoobynet about them. Keep on looking

The car is being sold with some work to do, but no mention of any accident damage to the passenger side, I would then assume they have repaired this before sale :?

Thinking reluctantly, to sell no.62. Offers around 9k I deem reasonable. Just under 80k miles. FSSH. Only mod is a front bib spoiler I fitted myself. Open to discuss further if interested.
