The WR1 be safe in the knowledge that, short of strapping yourself to an Acme rocket, there's no quicker way to get from A to B.

Mixed emotions I'm sure. Looks like you had plenty of fun with it over the years.

No idea what next I just know I need to stop running 3 cars and go down to 2 cars. But if doing that the R32 daily driver which feels slow to me being used to the wr1 will need changing.

Doubt it will be a FRS as I came to the wr1 from a Focus ST with GGR 330bhp package on it making it more or less an RS. Got fed up of wheel spinning in 3rd on the motorway in the damp so went for the scoob.

Yes a lot of good times had in the car over the years, sad to see it go and gutted the wifes put her foot down to be honest but it makes sense given it was getting used to rarely being a weekend car.

My wife told the new owners girlfriend about brunters so they may make an appearance there this year. But yes gutted to see it go. Yer not a lot got past it at brunters, love the way in the wr1 you can literally keep accelerating around the first left hand bend without easing off the power and it will just grip on that runway tarmac, certainly a great all round car. Who knows i might make an appearance in something even if its the wifes discovery or my R32, give people a moving obstacle to get round lol
