No. 215 for sale

Postby michael26uk » Fri Sep 21, 2012 12:33 pm

49,500 miles, wheels could do with a tidy and someone kindly scratched the drivers side both doors, but luckily not too deep, so needs some TLC.

Otherwise very good condition.

How long did that advert take you?

If it's mechanically sound then £9k is a decent price. Hope you manage to sell it for what you want.

I've actually been selling it for a couple of weeks, but stupidly didn't even think of putting it on here  so just done it quickly.

I've got an offer from someone that is a little lower than I wanted, but I may have to take it as I really want it gone in the next couple of weeks if possible.
Looking for an Audi RS4 so an extra couple of thousand will mean the difference between a 30k miles car and an 80k miles car. :?

Mechanically it's spot on, no mods at all, totally standard, just needs a little hug to make it look A1 condition.
I've had it 5 years and only done 4-5k miles per year, but that power still makes me smile everytime I drive it.

Yep, good price but a bit more info would be a great idea, servicing (dealer or specialist). Pictures of the scratches wont do it no harm if you are up front with them, is the original tax disc and key fob with the the car? Good luck with the sale.

All the services I had done at main dealers (can't remember previous owners off hand).
Tax disc holder is original, didn't have keyring or dash plate when I bought it.
Scratches are hard to photograph as they are not that obvious until you get up close.

My loan application has just been refused this weekend, so this may go on hold now unless there are any good offers. 8)

 UNBELIEVABLE

Agreed a price with Subaru salesman to take mine, bought new car based on the price to be picked up next week, and Subaru dealership just rang to say they wont give me agreed price but £1500 less. Salesman I agreed price with has now left!!!

What do I do, gotta go over tomorrow to see them but sounds like they're not going to budge. Not sure where I stand as nothing in writing.

Not good mate, maybe we should have a WR1 meet on their doorstep to block their garage until they cough up?

Cheers mate I'm game for anything if it works!

We agreed £6500, which I think is low, but found a car I wanted and so needed it gone. Now they've changed to £5000 I'm f***ing insulted.
They reckon £8000 is the very top private retail price!!

£8k is probably about right in the current environment where there are not many buyers around.

I'm sure you could sell it quickly yourself for £6.5k-£7k if you wanted to get rid?! Can you afford to do that and still get your other car or do you need the cash from this sale before you get the other car?

£6500 was my deposit which needs to be paid this week. Finance is in place and car being prepped to pick up next week, so if anyones got £6500 cash this week the car is theres, rather than me giving it to the stealer.

Can you not have a word with the dealer you are buying the new car off and explain the situation?

You never know... they might be desparate to do a deal to help the sale?!

They can only say no!

Did think of that but it's an Audi RS4 so struggled to get the deal I did.

There was someone in the Cambridge area that wanted my car for about £8500 from this dealer, but they've not been back in touch.

So if your on here browsing you can have it straight from me at a GREAT price!

Ah a fair bit from me in Ipswich, if it was local I'd have popped up and had a look. Not looking for a replacement for the Spec C but could have possibly helped you out.

Whats the Spec on the RS? I'm 'car sitting' one at the minute!

Did you just sat you'd go down to £6k? What tax and MOT is on it?

Really, small world!
How long ago?
I own the old shoe repairers on Queen street, next to the Queens Head Pub. Been there since 1993 when I bought it off my old boss.

6500? someone is going to get a bloody bargain. Like you say I wouldnt give it the garage on principle.

Tbh id just let the Audi go rather than sell my car for peanuts. Sounds like they are just trying it on to me.

Id sell the 1 private for what its really worth and then you will find that the audi is still there in a couple of months. If not there will always be another.

Whos the garage? Name and shame lol

I'm trying to convince myself not to buy it. :D

I don't need it, I've a RS4 a Spec C and a van, do I really need a WR1 again? I'd only buy it, spend some money on it and sell it.

Sorry guys went yesterday afternoon, got £5500 which I can cope with.
I'm a person who can't be bothered with the hassle, just wanted rid, move on and get my new one next week.
The colour and spec Audi I've got don't come up often at the price I got it for so didn't want to pull out, only to spend months of people asking questions, test driving, making offers

And for all those that PM'd me last night, sorry I had to go to dealers yesterday lunchtime and needed to get cheque in the bank so I could clear it and pay deposit early next week.

It's at Welch Group in Shelford, Cambridge if any of you want to make enquiries.
More gutted now I've seen the amount of interest by PM.

Oh well! C'est la vie!
