Does anyone know if there's a prize for the best first post?

Well it will be a brand new CS400 (for a lot less than the original price) or a high mileage turbo or reasonable mileage 997.

Like the idea of brand new.....staying scooby and 0-60 in 3.7 from a car the has a boot and five seats.

Just wondered if anyone had experianced the CS400. I cant find the top gear review for some reason.

I know what you mean about brand new - warranty and all that.. but I'm not sure about them, defo worth a drive!
Have you spoken with Crossroads Subaru about a possible deal on one of their specials? pretty sure it's called a CR400, but could be wrong... matt grey and looks the mutts.

I havent, but will have a look now.

Also the fact that there are only 75 built is a good selling point.

Very torn.

Go for the CS400. Have you seen it monster the sprint at Cholmondley Pageant of Power?:

http://www.djapanesecars.com/subaru/sub ... power.html

There were two days of domination for Subaru Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 limited-edition driven by former British Rally Champion, Mark Higgins, at the recent Cholmondeley Pageant of Power event. The car was beaten only by Lamborghini LP570-4 Performante on the 1.2-mile sprint circuit in the first day, while managing to outpace all cars in the second.

The cars left behind by the 400hp Subaru Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 limited-edition included a host of high-performance road cars and supercars, such as the Nissan GTR, Ariel V8 Atom, Lexus LFA and Ford Focus RS500.

The performance achieved by the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 established it as the fastest hot-hatch in the ‘supercar’ class. Higgins recorded a best time of 66.08 seconds, at an average speed of 65.45 mph on the twisty Cholmondeley circuit.

“The Pageant’s track is incredibly narrow and asks a surprising amount of both Subaru Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 limited-edition and driver,â€

Yea mossy, I know what you are saying......but I do love me scooby's, with various JDM's and this being my second Wr1. Being the limited number it is what is really appealing to me.....problem is, all the ones available are delivery mileage so you can’t test drive them. But Steveyk has a good point :-)

If you have a Porsche, you will have a lovely car, but people will hate you. If you have a CS400, you will have a nondescript black hatchback that nobody will pay any attention to until they wonder where it went...
