WR1 No 022 For Sale

The time has come to sell my WR1, having owned the car since 2008 and due to a change in circumstances my work takes me abroad for periods of time so I just can't justify keeping the car.

As discussed on the Forum I believe people have been letting them go far to cheaply which is detrimental to the marque.

I am looking for a new owner that will cherish this car for years to come.

THAT is one hell of a car mate! Gutted i haven't got the money to buy it myself

In that condition and with that mileage and history it's a bargain - Good luck with the sale!

(now then my local branch of Lloyds has cctv, comprehensive alarms and a direct panic button to local plod but if i use my recently purchased "Acme Ninja Banana" disguise i reckon i get away with it! )

My biggest difficulty with any private sale in that price range is you have no come-back if there is a problem afterwards. I wonder if that's what makes the better (so usually dearer) cars like this one harder to sell privately and is why you've had no enquiries?

At least with a dealer, they're obliged by law to provide you with six month's warranty (don't be fobbed off with less - it IS the law). I'm not sure what the solution to this might be for private sellers.

Having said that, looking at the photos, I'm sure this particular car is well worth the money.

DVLA website has loads of info about the law. Check it out, gives you some very good facts which I just make sure I quote in an email when buying a car.

It's a lovely looking car and I wish the seller well but the price is very strong.

I bought my 1, 2 and a half years ago and paid under £12000 then and the mileage was just under 40k.
