'Tally Ho Chaps!' No 494 'Checking In!'

Hello everyone, good to be here.

Just about to collect '494 from Ian Grieve, Falkirk and thought it high time I moved 'front and centre' to join the massed ranks of the WR1 community.

Been watching the forum for quite a while, waiting for the time when I could replace my beloved late-registered (51) mica red 'Classic' Turbo with a 'mint' WR1 - that time has finally arrived!!!

Great times ahead? I hope so, I'm really looking forwards to getting my hands on this beauty! The test-drive was amazing compared to my current scooby.

More details perhaps, once the deed is done and '494 lands safely in 'the sticks' of Aberdeenshire. Yes guys ANOTHER ONE residing North of the Border.

Please excuse the lack of 'smilies' etc, this is my first post and I'm an 'old f**t' - especially when it comes to computers.

Anyway, must fly - long day tomorrow, 'toodle pip' and TTFN

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps.

Collected 494 today - what a beast!

Great service from Gavin and the guys at Ian Grieve, Falkirk. A long way down for the purchase - but well worth it. Not the best of weather on the RTB, but good enough to give her a 'run'.

I love this car already!

Day off tomorrow, so sponge, soap and polish 'at the ready'.

How do Mr Brown welcome :D
Another Highlander here but i'm further North than you, i'm sure you'll be over the moon with your purchase.

As for all you saying all the 1's are heading north it's because you all know we have the best roads in the UK for them to do their stuff on thats why you lot have organised a trip to come up & experience them for yourself

Gee

P.s your not Dale are you? Just when you said you had a mica red classic & from A'deen.

Hi Gee WR1

No not Dale I'm afraid, but he obviously has good taste in scooby colouring - 'mica' red takes some beating!

And I am 'over the moon' with the 'One experience.

Anyway back to the polishing! :)
