Hi guy's - No.158 has arrived

Postby welshWR1 » Sun Sep 09, 2007 7:30 am

It's taken me a while to join, but, now I'm here.

My car is WR1 no.158, and I've owned it since march. The car was bought new by my old man, who coved just under 5000 miles over the 2 1/2 year period he had it-it is in mint condition, and never been driven hard. The old man sold it to buy his RB320-which I feel is quite a bit slower than mine, however the brakes seem to be more responsive.

My last car was an Astra VXR-which I still believe is awsome, possible too much power for front wheel drive though!

The car was totally when I bought it, but since have fitted a pair of blue prodrive mudflaps. I'm debating whether to get an induction kit, bov, and possibly an uprated exhaust to unleashe more of the 'scooby gargle'

I'd like to hope that I'm the youngest WR1 owner in the forum-at 24yrs old! Can anyone beat that? Lol!

I've posted a topic in the tech forum regarding turbo surge-please have a look and give me some assistance if possible.

I've got a pic of my WR1 and the old man's RB320 next to each other on my PC, can anyone help me post it on the forum?

Welcome welshWR1

rb320, wr1 in the same family, now that has got to be a first

As for youngest owner, I seem to remember a smurf who had a 1 when he was 21/22 from new.

Ummmm, not cheap, I'm with admiral.co.uk with a premium of £1486. Two previous accidents don't help! :(
