W121 WRC

Postby Guzzler » Wed Sep 05, 2007 9:13 am

Hi,

I have stumbled in to the WR1 club and admit to being excited about getting to know the car.

I am not sure what number "my" WR1 is but you guys might know from the Reg.

The Impreza is very different from my last few cars (heavily modded VX220, S2000 and Clio Trophy) but I am sure it will be a lot of fun.

Cheers

Ben

Definitely a Crossroads car - I was offered that reg too :D

Welcome to the club, Ben  You can find your number easily - just look on the back of your tax disc and you'll see it there.

Yes it is a crossroads car. It did have a few 'extras' that were not quite to my taste and Crossroads are removing them all. The car is in very good condition except for some minor scuffing to one wheel, corroding wheels centre caps and a severely scratched gear knob.

One thing did suprise me tho - after 27000 miles it appears to be on the original brake discs. Is this some kind of record?

"extras" like the bonnet mesh etc?

no, discs should last that long, I sold mine at 28k miles and they were still OK, no reason they should wear much quicker than that I dont think..

When they've finished, and you're out driving.... watch out for CRAMP!!!...

.......In your face..............You may have to have the permanent grin surgically removed if the facial cramp doesn't ease.

No - head light protectors, black rubbing strips and mud flaps.

I am looking forward to collecting my WR1 in the morning.

Working on it...
