Postby benh999 » Thu Aug 30, 2007 7:54 pm

Evening everyone. My names Ben, just joined and am in the Hunt for a TIDY wr1. I was the person that phoned Pete griff regarding WR1 356, and I was almost the one who bought it before some investigation work showed that it had been clocked after he had sold it. Was Gutted but relieved at the same time.

I currently drive a mica red mk1 version 6(2001) impreza turbo with PPP and full Subaru and Prodrive SeRvice history, shes MINT and has just clocked up 61k. She the last of the mk1's as is now for sale. A snip at

After my 1st experience with 356 I can see how its going to be tricky. If it wasn't for this site I'd now be the owner of it. Ive seen a couple that have caught my eye with one owner will be chasing them up tomorrow

Looking forward to finding the right one.

Ben

Well bud, I dont know how far you'd travel but if you need one viewing in my area let me know im able to view cars within 75-100 mile radius of my house for you ok.

Aberdeen area etc.

Pistonheads.com is worth a look.

But for real enthusiast owners your probably looking at buying one thats been owned on this site.

and id pay 20,000 for an absolute minter with low miles and all the origional bits and pieces, tax disc, key ring etc.

But you'd buy a heap for 14-15k.

Hello again, I've been on the register and now I thought I'd update my hello profile.

Names Ben and have recently aquired WR1 no 181. 1 owner from new and only covered 11k miles. Currently selling mk1 my mk1 turbo ppp which is a little minter. Based in the Midlands and looking forward to getting the WR1 to some meets. Also for fun have VW polo 1.3 supercharged running 220bhp at the wheels. different beast from the scooby but rewarding to drive and will embarras most exotic cars out there
