Hi everyone

Hi everyone,

Just joined the site. I've had my WR1 for 2 years now and what a car (no. 341).

Still in its standard condition except the air filter and exhaust? I'm thinking of upgrades and modifications but not mechanically minded, (a boring accountant by trade). So any advise would be appreciated.

I've had good cars in the past, Escort mk1 mexico, Xr3i, RS turbo, Audi S3 (chipped to 276 bhp), but nothing but nothing comes close to the scooby. (well once had the use of a heavily modifird RS4 and that was quick in another league with some 480 bhp, 187mph and a nice price tag to boot). Would like to start getting mine to this level so any advise would be very welcome.

Anyway hope to speak to you soon and maybe look at attending some meetings (if your happy to meet 'older' patrons, well only 46).

Dave

Welcome, Dave  You have a LOT of catching up to do! I too stumbled over the site earlier last year and the advice here has proven invaluable.

PS.. Age is irrelevant here
