Hi
New to this game but here to have a go.
I work for me uncles who own and often let me thrash WR1 number 434 FL54OSM aka R9 KWS, we previously had number 403 but found it's way into a ditch with a tree branch through the gearbox..... whoops !

Does anyone have any info on removing the CAT etc and ways to increase BHP ?

Hope you can help
Thanks

Hi, welcome to the site. I did hear a rumour one had been crashed, it must have been yours!

May i ask what happened?

Have a look through the technical threads on the site, that may give you some ideas of what you can do. Did you have a target figure you were hoping to get bhp-wise?

welcome to the site :D i remember many years ago when i rolled an xr3 down a road and into a deep ditch, every panel bent along with everything else, never been so frightened in all my life, got out of the windscreen, got back the ditch and then realised i did'nt have a scratch  used one of my lives up that day  i know millie is looking into the possibility of taking his up to 400bhp, and has got some info about how to achieve this mark.

Full de-cat, induction kit and a re-map will see you good for about 350bhp. Say bye bye to your warranty though.

There were some tuning options discussed in June edition of EVO.

If i were having mine done, which is fairly likely in a couple of years, i'd speak to the people at Roger Clark Motorsport.
