#237 SC04BEE

Postby FatboyAndy » Tue Sep 23, 2014 3:12 pm

Hi...it's taken a while but I've made it at last. I've had #237 for 9 years with work and other crap restricting the car to just 24500 miles.... Happily that's all changed so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a garage where I could get the cobwebs dusted off by mechanics who care ....?? I'm in methley near "classy" cas( Yorkshire). Thanks

No. I bought the car with 4500 miles on it and have only managed 1500 miles in the last 5 years..however I've more time now hence the garage request.its been to Goldens but I'd prefer a recommendation.Where do you have yours looked after ?

No..I had it on sorn for a year but just not used it. Every time I went to it the battery was flat.seems to be a common problem looking at some of the posts... That and knocking rear struts. So have decided to give her some Tlc.... I will give those guys a call. Thanks

I would recommend Adam and Jamie at Autotecnica in Buxton, (nearly 5 hr round trip for me but worth it) great service every time
it is better to have had a wr1 and lost it than never to have one at all.

Was a 3 hour round trip but well worth it for the drive there alone.....wood head pass and beyond. Jamie and Adam spot on. And yes silver sonic the battery was underpowered.....passed the day in and around Buxton, complete with a view of the largest unsupported dome in Europe....larger than the Royal Albert Hall ..... In Buxton..I kid you not
