Hi People.

I am after a WR1 and looking to buy a WR1 as I have just sold my Nissan 350Z.

I am based in London and please let me know if anyone knows of any good deals.

There is one on email but I was nt sure about it as it was over 180miles away and it was missing service history.

Welcome to the site. Theres a few Wr1's for sale on ebay, but dont rush into a sale. Purchase the best car you can afford? Anything over £10000 in my opinion should buy you a good well kept example with full service history.

The one you are looking at on ebay is advertised as immaculate condition??? have a look at the lower edges of the front bumper :?: plus gold alloys :puke: He or she does state the car has a service history and recently serviced....

Good luck with the search, from my recent search (owned mine 4 months now), anything under 8k and you could be looking at things like partial service history, needing work (such as wheels refurbed, brakes etc, up coming service,MOT due soon), higher mileage - but you could get lucky.

I think the advert can say a lot about a car, and how the current owner has looked after it, if the advert is comprehensive then it "usually" appeals to me as it says that person has looked after it.

That advert in my opinion, wouldn't make me want to go and see it - doesn't really mention if it has any of the limited edition parts (tax disc holder, mats, key-ring etc) - looking at the pictures the drivers mat is the WR1 one but the passenger isn't (can't buy replacement new any more). I think it depends how picky you want to be too. No mention in the advert which number the car is, no mention of what the service history is, when the cambelt was done, and why would you change the colour on the wheels of a limited edition car? (personal taste) I can't see from the pictures clearly but it doesn't seem to have the original tax disc holder. If the majority of the limited edition bits aren't there it may as well just be a normal STi -so its not worth the premium above one.

All just my opinion.
