Hi and welcome, have you just purchased a 1 or just a fan? Where are you based.

Yeah got no.360, had for about 3 mths now so still fairly new for me! Had 2003 sti before that! Ive always been scooby fan since i was old enough to know what subaru's were! Always wanted to be a rally driver, loved Mcrae and burns!

Knew it would be a bit quicker but was really suprised when i picked it up and started driving it, the pick up speed is so much quicker, 1st and 2nd gears are devastatingly quick, gives me a proper big smile whenever i give it some legs! Still have'nt actually put my foot down properly in all gears, get a bit worried i might get caught out with speed and the old bill! Loved my sti though, had it for 5 years and cant see myself ever having anything other than a scooby now! You got a wr1 aswell?

Third, fourth and fifth were the gears that blew me away.

Yes mate ive had 481 for about a month now. The only impreza ive owned was a bugeye WRX 6 years ago and it was shite. Id only ever wanted a WR1 but couldnt afford so settled for 10th best lol BIG mistake, still got here in the end. Funny you mention 1st and 2nd because it was only the other week i had properly used them and its just crazy quick. Addictive and expensive but what the hell. Its also fun to increase your speed in 3rd behind someone and then when that turbo is spinning BANG see ya
Im going to have to get the car out in a min and go for a spin, im smiling just at the thought of it, FANTASTIC car.

Thanks for all the welcomes, feel like part of the "family" now! Im from Chichester (near Portsmouth). Yeah im the same with the diff about leaving it alone, think its more for the track! Read its better in auto for acceleration which is what excites me!!!

Any peeps on here at trax couple weeks back?

It's good to see a local owner - most on here are rich northerners

You could walk to Revival from your place (or ask Lord March to send a helicopter for you! :D ).

I've got my ticket for Sunday- should be good and weather looks like being drier than last year.
