I see Scoobie Si used to own it (seen the pics from 2010) so any ideas why he sold it ? and any history about the car would be appreciated

Welcome Barry, you will have some great fun with the 1. Did you purchase as a daily driver or weekend sunny day car.

Mine is used at weekends and sometimes during the week and only on dry days

Hi mate

I did indeed use to own 147 - was a great car and enjoyed every minute of it. Went to the Prodrive meet last June and last years NBO and also took it to the Ring last October - although I guess you've already seen the photos!

It was super fast but I just didn't get the chance to use all the power that often - had wanted a WR1 for ages and now the itch has been scratched!

It was my daily driver as well but with a 50 mile commute was costing a fair fortune in fuel and also the 5000 mile services etc - if it was a weekend car would have kept it but saw a deal at Revitup (where I guess you got it from) did the deal and the One was gone.

Did you get the spare alloy? It has braided hoses and uprated barke fluid plus new front brakes but apart from that totally standard.

Enjoy it :D

Cheers

Si

Hi Si

Thanks for the info and yes I have seen the pictures, will post some of my own after I have cleaned it, damn rain and mud lol

Yes I got it from Revitup and yes I got the spare alloy and the back shocks as well.

I have had it 2 months now and loving every minute of it. I am averging 20 mpg but dont care lol.

I just need to find somewhere decent local to get it serviced, it has just over 58k now

One happy motorist :D
