Hi All,

I have been an Impreza fan for quite some time but haven't owned one as yet. Looking for a WR1 with comprehensive history and less then 50,000miles.

If buying from someone outside the forum, any tips on what to look out for?

Regards,

Aman

 Helloooo good time to be on the look out for one, seems they are going for a good price just now.
Apart from the service history and numbered Service book things to look out for are the Key ring, the Tax Disc Holder, the Gear Knob and Plaque.

What do you expect to pay for what you are looking for (i.e., extensive history and less than 50k miles)?

WR1

From what I have seen on the net a WR1 with about 45,000miles could be for around 10,500-11,000 and ones with less miles will be higher. Why have you got one that fits the bill?

No, sorry mines not for sale, although I have been toying with the idea for a while. I fancy a change, I think I'd want a bit more than £11000 though...

If you hold onto it for much longer then you'll not get 11k for it...

a car is only worth what soeone is willing to pay but a wr1 is a performance bargain you will not go faster for the money!!!

Don't know about that - someone may want a good one. Mines only 34000 miles approx and in very good, clean condition. Immaculate wheels, paintwork, etc.

I would only put it up for sale when there were no others' around...
